Black Sabbath Bassist Geezer Butler Speaks About Hurricane Katrina (9/12/2005)

BLACK SABBATH bassist Geezer Butler has issued the following statement about the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina:

"You will be hard-pressed to find someone NOT affected by the devastation of the hurricane in the southern states. And, for many of us, the horror is, unfortunately, very close and very real even though we (physically) are not. Being so far away and watching only on television, it's difficult to grasp the severity... but we need to. Please do what you can... donate funds, clothing, blood, toiletries, food, or time."

In other news, Butler's song "I Believe", which appears on his latest solo album, "Ohmwork", is going to be used in an episode of the TV series "Dog the Bounty Hunter". The specific episode is entitled "This Dog Can Hunt" and will air on September 27 on the A&E network. More information is available on the "Dog the Bounty Hunter" page at A&E: http://www.aetv.com/dogthebountyhunter/.
